but has its roots in eternity. — H. P. BLAVATSKY

September 10, 2017 Theme for Contemplation: The Language of the Future

The ‘Higher Ego’, as part of the essence of the UNIVERSAL MIND, is
unconditionally omniscient on its own plane, and only potentially so in our
terrestrial sphere, as it has to act solely through its ‘alter ego’, the Personal Self.
    — H. P. BLAVATSKY

Life becomes sacred because all its acts and events
are looked upon as sacraments. — B. P. WADIA

    Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O, no! It is an ever-fixèd mark,
That looks on tempests and is never shaken.
    — WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

Like the Tina Turner song we could ask in regards to the spiritual path, “What’s Love Got To Do With It?”.

It has everything to do with it. If the spiritual quest is the most challenging thing a human being can do then how could you climb to those heights without love. What we fall in love with is what we accomplish the most. Eros, Divine Love.

Right on Alex. I could not agree more. Ralph Waldo Emerson used said nothing great ever happened without enthusiasm. For me enthusiasm is a form of love.

If towards the Lord you take
A single step, then with much more
Than a mother’s love He takes
Nine steps towards you to accept you.
    Such is the Guru’s Grace.

Thou hast taught me to see in all men my friends,
    My guardians, my kindred.
    — TUKARAM

No occupation either, but something given
And taken, in a lifetime’s death in love,
    Ardour and selflessness and self-surrender.
    — T. S. ELIOT
